Sixto Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Hendrickx came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Luke made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Candido Hendrickx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Sixto Luke in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of USA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pilar FC:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Hendrickx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Sixto Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Langoni got free with Marco Day in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luca Langoni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicanor Illan had several of the USA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Marco Day as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Illan in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 88th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Sixto Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aukusti Malinen in the 89th minute of the match. Pilar FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godofredo Lano took the corner. In the 92nd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, USA's Khalid Parry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Luke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Although USA had been in control for most of the match, Pilar FC still came away with the win.
