Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Garth Brough started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Ellis Hoskin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Ellis Hoskin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Rufus Roach got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Garth Brough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Gisbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Keylor Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellis Hoskin in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Australian Youth Academy got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rufus Roach ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jarrod Mcmillan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jorge Sainz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot 26 in the game by Garth Brough from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garth Brough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Garth Brough took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 41st minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Roach didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Garth Brough made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. The audience was convinced that Garth Brough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jason Butterfield kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Keylor Navas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Garth Brough took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Brough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Australian Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
