Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. 14 minutes into the match, Balla 1926 fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Claudio Patricelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Patricelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Patricelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Balla 1926 fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Claudio Patricelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Debowski in the 32nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balla 1926 fc's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Patricelli came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geirhvatur Ómarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Claudio Patricelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geirhvatur Ómarsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geirhvatur Ómarsson got free with Dante Lacasa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mexico booed when Balla 1926 fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Ciolli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Patricelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geirhvatur Ómarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Claudio Patricelli made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After 58 played minutes Balla 1926 fc got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Ciolli. After 61 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. 67 minutes into the match, Balla 1926 fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Claudio Patricelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Patricelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Balla 1926 fc getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Amos Reggianini hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geirhvatur Ómarsson in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of play forced Balla 1926 fc's goalkeeper Claudio Patricelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Patricelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Patricelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 85th minute. Claudio Patricelli was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Patricelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute Alvise Silvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
