Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cengizhan Şahistan. In the 11th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Gisbert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Guillermo Mariano with Tomas Illescas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of 1. FC Krotoszyn booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Zdeb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cengizhan Şahistan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Kisielka came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes 1. FC Krotoszyn got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Bugajski. Krzysztof Sliwinski charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krzysztof Sliwinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Krzysztof Sliwinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Wawrzyniec Kisielka made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jerzy Urban tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 1. FC Krotoszyn's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cengizhan Şahistan came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cengizhan Şahistan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cengizhan Şahistan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play. Jerzy Urban struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1. FC Krotoszyn. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wawrzyniec Kisielka. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ludomil Pilsudski got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 69 minutes into the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wawrzyniec Kisielka in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Karol Zdeb managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Krotoszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Zdeb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karol Zdeb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cengizhan Şahistan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Wawrzyniec Kisielka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 95th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1. FC Krotoszyn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Herbert Pawelczyk tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cengizhan Şahistan. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
