Glany proboszcza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Glany proboszcza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-4.

Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwo Solarek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Prosowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Wiktor Ewertowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Wiktor Ewertowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Glany proboszcza. Alfred Czapski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacobo Nores. 2-5. Paraguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
