Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Răducanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. MARAZZINO's Svetomir Maier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 67 minute of the game. If Claudiu Răducanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olgun Baroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Lütfü Öktemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
