Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Ali Tanman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Erik Malm in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ertunç Önateş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Cordeiro in the 35th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwidon Maziarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Gwidon Maziarz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DARK HARBOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Maziarz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Erik Malm was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertunç Önateş, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertunç Önateş in the 58th minute of the match. A hard shot 59 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Mehmet Ali Tanman managed to make a qualified save. DARK HARBOR's players were relieved. Mehmet Ali Tanman made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Ali Tanman having to make a save. Mehmet Ali Tanman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute. Tomas Illescas scored 0-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Ali Tanman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mehmet Ali Tanman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Erik Malm in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in DARK HARBOR's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ali Tanman came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
