When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leo Kutsar. Leo Kutsar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Leo Kutsar had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Leo Kutsar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Llamas's Leo Kutsar got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Llamas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The supporters of Honduras booed when Llamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lembitu Maandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aadu Tarand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Leo Kutsar. Llamas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Kaupo Nuiamäe hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Kutsar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Llamas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lembitu Maandi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Leo Kutsar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aadu Tarand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Llamas's Leo Kutsar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute of play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llamas's goalie prevented a goal. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 69th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Kutsar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Kutsar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Kutsar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Carvallo in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ocampo in the 75th minute of play forced Llamas's goalkeeper Leo Kutsar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Edmundo Espiga scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Kutsar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Llamas's Leo Kutsar. Leo Kutsar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
