Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Dural in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the KOO Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hurşit Tamerk's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ertan Dural in the 16th minute. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes, KOO Tigers's Gazanfer İcmal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KOO Tigers reached it. Ertan Dural might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ertan Dural ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ertan Dural in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Arın Ferhat Alpman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd play minute Hurşit Tamerk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. Andriy Lunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of the match. Gazanfer İcmal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertan Dural, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes of play, KOO Tigers's Ertan Dural made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ertan Dural in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Alemdar Atasan. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig pulled a muscle in his leg after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 64 minutes, Arın Ferhat Alpman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KOO Tigers and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KOO Tigers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Arın Ferhat Alpman hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Hurşit Tamerk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ertan Dural's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Dural in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's Hurşit Tamerk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
