Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Kosel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Antoni Kosel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Kosel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachary Domin charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachary Domin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Domin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin made a substitution. Nicola Zalewski replaced Zachary Domin. In the 14th match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Domin to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Jerzyk came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Duda Chaves heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kosel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Antoni Kosel. Antoni Kosel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Duda Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Siembab in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Antoni Kosel in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Antoni Kosel made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szymon Andryszyn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Andryszyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62nd play minutes Stanislaw Siembab shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Walery Skonieczny hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Kosel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Jerzyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Szymon Andryszyn hit a great ball. Antoni Kosel made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Antoni Kosel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 88th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoni Kosel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Nicola Zalewski got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
