In the 5th minute, Olov Johnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VBL Stockholm's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 8th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Kihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Johnsson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 25 minutes into the game, VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Olov Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 34th minute of play. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Carl-Chester Vallgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Johnsson went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Carl-Chester Vallgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 40th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 56th minute of play. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl-Chester Vallgren saved VBL Stockholm from getting behind. After 68 played minutes VBL Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Åström. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Åström hit a great ball. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VBL Stockholm's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Eerik Lilleorg sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl-Chester Vallgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Olov Johnsson made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Johnsson got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 86th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Carl-Chester Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VBL Stockholm's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
