Agustín Saelices made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Vissefjärda IF's Ulrik Granqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Ulrik Granqvist in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulrik Granqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vissefjärda IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vissefjärda IF's Ulrik Granqvist did a great save. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Ulrik Granqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Stark in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda IF's goalkeeper Ulrik Granqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Vissefjärda IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Ulrik Granqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Vissefjärda IF's Michael Fridlund got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulrik Granqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
