After some careless play in the Compugraf defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Vidal. The Compugraf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Vidal should have stopped the shot. Compugraf's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis Andino 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-16. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Vidal saved Compugraf from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Vidal. That made the score 0-17 after 96 minutes of play. The Compugraf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
