In the 2nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay were furious when Kevin Carballal was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 7th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. A hard shot 11 in the game by Robert Bagge from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Robert Bagge's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Gayoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. A long shot from Enzo Weijgaerts in the 15th minute of play was well struck, but Joaquin Gayoso made a really good save at the right post. Enzo Weijgaerts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Titanes Mayas's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Marin came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Bagge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 27 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mías Marin. Titanes Mayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, Titanes Mayas's Franklin Souto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Souto in the 41st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Titanes Mayas's Ruben Blai was substituted for Robert Bagge. Titanes Mayas's Mauro Incendio was substituted for Leo Crispo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. After taking down the ball on Titanes Mayas's corner Freddy Bihar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Blai in the 73rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Ruben Blai made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Titanes Mayas's Ruben Blai. But to his dismay, Ruben Blai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 7-1 became the score in the 79th minute when Ruben Blai elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yuri Manolev hit a great ball. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mías Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay.
