Coriano FC's Dino Cara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Coriano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Cara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dino Cara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Maximiliano Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Cara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Coriano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Toninelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Cara came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Vieri to make the kick off. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. Dino Cara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Camilo Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Cara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. In the 79thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coriano FC's Dino Cara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coriano FC's Dino Cara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 81st minute of play.
