Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Arriba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk in the 22nd minute of the match. Zbyszek Pawelczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Arriba in the 29th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galja Kraków:s goal. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped 胡皓泉:s penalty. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Marek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alvaro Arriba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszek Pawelczyk in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Arriba was the one to do the kick off. Zbyszek Pawelczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszek Pawelczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogdan Marek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Zbyszek Pawelczyk put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Galja Kraków supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galja Kraków would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
