Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sálvio Ribeiro got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of play forced ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, ADCR Loreto United FC's Sálvio Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Frederico Torcato fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADCR Loreto United FC's protests and gave Frederico Torcato a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Torcato. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesário Abrantes in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sálvio Ribeiro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesário Abrantes who took care of the corner kick. Frederico Torcato made a great header on ADCR Loreto United FC's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Vladimiro Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Curado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sálvio Ribeiro during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to ADCR Loreto United FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. José Fonte hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Alfredo Curado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimiro Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Vladimiro Matai in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Josué Lameiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by ADCR Loreto United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After 60 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Vladimiro Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Torcato. 70 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Vladimiro Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Curado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes of play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Alfredo Curado made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimiro Matai. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. When Sálvio Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ADCR Loreto United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sálvio Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ADCR Loreto United FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
