An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 18th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Lanczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 36th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 played minutes Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ got a freekick which was hit by Behzat Tanyeli. A collision led to Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mikayıl Malişov hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Lanczak in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Yağız Macit was substituted for Anastasio Jurdan. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Deng Jie Wei replaced Benedykt Lanczak. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Onur-Recep Kıvrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 82nd minute of the match. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne.
