Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Niculescu having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marius Niculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marius Niculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Ramos in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Marius Niculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

FC BRADUL -MM-'s Dorin Cârțan was substituted for Vali Papaiani. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Pantiș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marius Niculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Ramos in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s Edu Ramos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 67 minutes into the match, FC BRADUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marius Niculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Vlădoiu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Edu Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led to FC BRADUL -MM-'s Narcis Godeanu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Pacuraru came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC BRADUL -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
