Aguinaga Nebot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Maftei's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Maftei helped the player get up and apologised. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Esmeraldas S.C. from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa.
