The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Papaiani got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Pantiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marius Niculescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manuel Pantiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Niculescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Niculescu having to interfere. Valeriu Zăraşcu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Venezuela's attentive Tomas Illescas managed to snatch the ball when Valeriu Zăraşcu made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC BRADUL -MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

FC BRADUL -MM-'s Iustinian Fecioru was substituted for Valeriu Zăraşcu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Manuel Pantiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BRADUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Pantiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Niculescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Pacuraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edu Ramos's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Edu Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iustinian Fecioru hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Pacuraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. FC BRADUL -MM- succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Venezuela had controlled the match.
