After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leon Aznaro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Jerzy Plachetka made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Bruno Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Intifada Palestina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Peyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerzy Plachetka's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. CA Intifada Palestina's Justino Valery was substituted for Jerzy Plachetka.
