Baldomiro Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. The Atletico Saladillo FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Atletico Saladillo FC's Prospero Hug looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Prospero Hug got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Eduardo Elixio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atletico Saladillo FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Gabriel Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Danilo Austin with Prospero Hug as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Chorche. Prospero Hug scored 3-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes of play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Prospero Hug made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Chorche in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Corderro went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Erland Sagbakken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erland Sagbakken, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erland Sagbakken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Gabriel Corderro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atletico Saladillo FC's Hector Ferrer was substituted for Gabriel Corderro. Atletico Saladillo FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prospero Hug took the corner. Atletico Saladillo FC's Hector Ferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Hug. There was no doubt that Atletico Saladillo FC were the better team. Atletico Saladillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
