Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Messias in the 3rd minute of the match. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Eliseu Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes, André Luiz Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ViraLataCaramelo U18 and the Haiti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Haiti booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When José Augusto Messias fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ViraLataCaramelo U18's protests and gave José Augusto Messias a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes ViraLataCaramelo U18 got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Messias. 13 minutes into the match, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseu Chaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ViraLataCaramelo U18's Dinei Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Ernso Constant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernso Constant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute José Augusto Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Augusto Messias in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Seide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinei Guerra scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernso Constant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jonathan Alphonse tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseu Chaves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Gesner Philippe came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gesner Philippe couldn't finish the play. Jean Marie Alcius kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Guerra in the 40th minute of the match. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Messias in the 42nd minute of play. Philippe Ambroise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Chaves having to interfere. Eliseu Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Augusto Messias was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, José Augusto Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViraLataCaramelo U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saint Jean Pierre during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Haiti! Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Alphonse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinei Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. José Augusto Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Messias got free with Noel Seide in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ViraLataCaramelo U18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ViraLataCaramelo U18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
