An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 12th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Hamza Hanefi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Richie Ray. 18 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Abbiati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Hamza Hanefi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Hamza Hanefi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half USA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The audience was convinced that Ali Hamza Hanefi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Gösta Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KANONIERZY and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KANONIERZY. Richie Ray hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, KANONIERZY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Zgonina to maneuver through the defense. KANONIERZY made a substitution. Ludomil Poteralski replaced Julian Zgonina. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save KANONIERZY from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Sam Campbell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Abbiati. The goal made the score 0-4. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christian Abbiati made a huge save. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 81st minute of play. Ali Hamza Hanefi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Khalid Parry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Abbiati saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 86 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Poteralski. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Ime Mavros got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khalid Parry got free with Christian Abbiati in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KANONIERZY throughout the match.
