Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Montes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Montes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Asmind Stelsrud shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hjalmar Bransholm kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when O-TT-O was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Bransholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Champ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of the match. Marcus Harpsøe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Otto Champ in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Harpsøe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Felix Montenegro rounded O-TT-O's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Marcus Harpsøe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Marcus Harpsøe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Champ was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Hjalmar Bransholm hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Otto Champ. O-TT-O's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toke Herrig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Toke Herrig made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otto Champ was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute, Hjalmar Bransholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Champ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Champ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, O-TT-O's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Otto Champ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otto Champ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a rather tough play, O-TT-O's Oscar Magsmand got a free kick in the 87th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
