An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 9th minute of play forced C.A Juventud Peronista's goalkeeper Luis Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play forced C.A Juventud Peronista's goalkeeper Luis Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Bernebe in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, C.A Juventud Peronista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franek Kluczyk to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C.A Juventud Peronista's Luis Toli. Luis Toli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Bernebe in the 36th minute of play. Luis Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Juventud Peronista's Luis Toli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Nereo Lleir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Toli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Bernebe in the 62nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Sebastian Bambis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Franek Kluczyk came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute C.A Juventud Peronista were awarded a corner. Sebastian Bambis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 74th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bambis in the 75th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Toli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Marcelino Bernebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Ferrando in the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Juventud Peronista's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Toli came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Luis Toli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A Juventud Peronista fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
