A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 8th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Doloman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th minute Kuuno Tälli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Sarmiento. 32 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Anghelescu came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Doloman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Mario Jakobe made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dumitru Doloman. Viola Invest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gavril Anghelescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 62nd minute of play. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Gavril Anghelescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Doloman saved Viola Invest from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Doloman. Viola Invest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. If Gavril Anghelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mario Jakobe came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Viola Invest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Jakobe couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuuno Tälli, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mario Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Viola Invest got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jakub Jazowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 94 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Kuuno Tälli. The supporters of Colombia booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Jazowski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
