Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Erubiel Remicio made the kick off and thus started the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Filipo saved Orestes Football Club from getting behind. In the 11thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orestes Football Club's Mauro Filipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Leobardo in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Filipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mauro Filipo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Erubiel Remicio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orestes Football Club and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Orestes Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Remicio to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Remicio took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Filipo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Orestes Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mauro Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Filipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Mauro Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Filipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Roano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orestes Football Club the free kick. The supporters of Panama booed when Orestes Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Filipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Mauro Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 78th minute of play. Panama were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Orestes Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. The corner led to Panama's Miguel Miralles getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Orestes Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mauro Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orestes Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
