Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fortinducto's Santos Rito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Ledesma. Braulio Ledesma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Braulio Ledesma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Ledesma having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fortinducto's goalkeeper Braulio Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Braulio Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fortinducto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Braulio Ledesma had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Fortinducto booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes, Fortinducto's Santiago Laurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fortinducto reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Braulio Ledesma came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Hilario Calvet made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Santiago Laurin's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Laurin helped the player get up and apologised. Santiago Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Braulio Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fortinducto getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aaron Rosio hit a great ball. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Ledesma having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Braulio Ledesma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Braulio Ledesma made a huge save. Braulio Ledesma made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. The Fortinducto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
