In the 14th minute of the match, Luca Crespo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Cooke came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jean-Pierre Barda who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Full Fart Framåt's Jean-Pierre Barda to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eric Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Jean-Pierre Barda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play forced Full Fart Framåt's goalkeeper Eric Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santino Seco struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Eric Donnarumma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. After 44 minutes, Christer Bolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Full Fart Framåt and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eric Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Per-Olof Sjöström made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by John Ahlfors.
