The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karsten Koole during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Borcz to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Adam Coporan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Coporan in the 58th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Kopacz having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leeds Kraków F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Cyprian Kopacz, was totally fooled by Mexico's Joel Gaona, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Kopacz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico played a much better game than Leeds Kraków F.C. and deserved their victory. The Leeds Kraków F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
