Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gündüz Saner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Eedi Karuauk got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Jaks in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Aldas Tindžiulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Luiz Guilherme Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Gündüz Saner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Zula Jaks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Luiz Guilherme Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play forced Vuntsidega Vägimehed's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Eedi Karuauk. But to his dismay, Eedi Karuauk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Rando Vahing put in a rough tackle. In the 34th minute, one of Vuntsidega Vägimehed:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vuntsidega Vägimehed. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Guilherme Vinhas. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Eedi Karuauk came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eedi Karuauk in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Bram Stoker was substituted for Laur Vanamees. Vuntsidega Vägimehed made a substitution. Arne Kari replaced Long Chong Shi. A collision led to Vuntsidega Vägimehed getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zula Jaks hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Aldas Tindžiulis got a free kick in the 96th minute. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Vuntsidega Vägimehed had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
