The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ahmet Gündüz Saner advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 8th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Laur Vanamees sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Laur Vanamees fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ahmet Gündüz Saner struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vuntsidega Vägimehed. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Gündüz Saner got free with Julio Vera in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eedi Karuauk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Gündüz Saner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute, Ahmet Gündüz Saner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. From close distance Ahmet Gündüz Saner pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 41 minutes into the game. In the 45th minute of the match, Laur Vanamees got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laur Vanamees stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gündüz Saner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Luiz Guilherme Vinhas got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Saner came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Luiz Guilherme Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Vuntsidega Vägimehed from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vuntsidega Vägimehed made a substitution. Arne Kari replaced Long Chong Shi. In the 75th minute Ahmet Gündüz Saner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Rando Vahing to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Ahmet Gündüz Saner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vuntsidega Vägimehed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Gündüz Saner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Gündüz Saner went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Saner in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
