Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edwin Grabert got the match started through his kick off. The corner led Savage Hippo's Eddie Bjurström to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Edwin Grabert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Edwin Grabert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Grabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Arne Askstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agatas Alkauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Vilmantas Magdišauskas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilmantas Magdišauskas got free with Rolando Noboa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's attentive Joaquin Prats managed to snatch the ball when Agatas Alkauskas made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Saulius Pilipavičius hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Savage Hippo defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Arne Askstedt. The Savage Hippo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Arne Askstedt should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Grabert in the 53rd minute of play. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. After 68 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Owen Tomaszewski. Luz Tejedor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bengt-Arne Askstedt. Savage Hippo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vakaris Daujotas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Bengt-Arne Askstedt in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 88 minutes in the game Agatas Alkauskas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vakaris Daujotas. In the 89th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Eddie Bjurström in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rolando Noboa's left hand side. Vakaris Daujotas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agatas Alkauskas to maneuver through the defense. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
