But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Rando Vahing, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Heldur Pärjasaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Gündüz Saner might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Gündüz Saner ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eedi Karuauk in the 28th minute of play. Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Luiz Guilherme Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Saner in the 31st minute of play. Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Luiz Guilherme Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Vuntsidega Vägimehed defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Guilherme Vinhas. The Vuntsidega Vägimehed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Guilherme Vinhas should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vuntsidega Vägimehed's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Vinhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Gündüz Saner did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 41 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Vinhas having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Luiz Guilherme Vinhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Vinhas having to interfere. In the 55th minute Ahmet Gündüz Saner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rando Vahing was slow to take the kick. During this time Vuntsidega Vägimehed's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Eedi Karuauk to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Jaks in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vuntsidega Vägimehed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heldur Pärjasaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Ahmet Gündüz Saner made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Guilherme Vinhas. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Vuntsidega Vägimehed made a substitution. Bram Stoker replaced Laur Vanamees. The throw-in from Jorginho Teixeira in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ecuador's Luis Andino. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Jaks came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Saner in the 81st minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Julio Vera. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-3 in the 82nd minute. Ahmet Gündüz Saner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Gündüz Saner struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vuntsidega Vägimehed.
