Dariusz Borkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ziemowit Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Freitas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Pankracy Rasiak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Freitas in the 25th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Topolski having to interfere. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Filip Topolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Freitas in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th match minute, LKS Wasik Lidzbark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Modrzewski to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Pankracy Rasiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Filip Topolski got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Pankracy Rasiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LKS Wasik Lidzbark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ziemowit Smolarek's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Marian Duszenski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Duszenski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ziemowit Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Rasiak in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute Dudu Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The LKS Wasik Lidzbark support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
