Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute of play. Ziemowit Gdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Fábio Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, João Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viseu United's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pascual Carballar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Gdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hamílton Linhares who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hamílton Linhares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. Hamílton Linhares's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Pedro Manzanares - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 33rd minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Txindoki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ali Tayfur in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Viseu United made a substitution. Jiang Xiang Cheng replaced Ahmet Ali Tayfur. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ziemowit Gdowski to make the kick off. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Martin Min hit a great ball. Adrian Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of the match. Adrian Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santino Seco in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziemowit Gdowski in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Viseu United from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Gdowski came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
