Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teukros Economides kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Edward Mcdonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernado Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernado Alves having to interfere. Unione Sportiva's Fernado Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Fernado Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernado Alves was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fernado Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 27 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernado Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernado Alves came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 36th minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Fernado Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Christiano Ronaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernado Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fernado Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Mcdonald succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 64th playminute. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernado Alves was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Fernado Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jenson Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unione Sportiva's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monty Rogers was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Kimon Yfantis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unione Sportiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Kimon Yfantis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. 78 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernado Alves. Unione Sportiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khalid Parry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Khalid Parry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernado Alves. That made the score 1-7 in the 84 minute of play. After 87 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Moore. Marco Baker took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernado Alves. Fernado Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. In the 94th minute, Agix Kouklakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khalid Parry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fernado Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unione Sportiva throughout the match.
