Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorin Păstrăv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 15th minute of play forced CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Dorin Păstrăv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorin Păstrăv was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorin Păstrăv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Dorin Păstrăv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Păstrăv having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorin Păstrăv saved CRAIOVA JUNIOR from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Gâfu in the 61st minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after CRAIOVA JUNIOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dorin Păstrăv made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Pencu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CRAIOVA JUNIOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Dorin Păstrăv, making the score, 0-6. Dorin Păstrăv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Felix Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorin Păstrăv. The goal made the score 0-8. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pacurar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador played a much better game than CRAIOVA JUNIOR and deserved their victory. The CRAIOVA JUNIOR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
