Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Braga Junior FC's José Vítor Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Vítor Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 26 minutes, José Vítor Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braga Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Braga Junior FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvinho Veiga came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Aparecido came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Moscardó didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, José Vítor Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 45th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Silvinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Braga Junior FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Artur Penczkowski got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by José Vítor Aparecido. 69 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Aparecido came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Tạ Dala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edison Brena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when José Vítor Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Armando Zonta with Alfredinho Botelho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Chants of Braga Junior FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Honduras had held the ball for most of the match.
