Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. After 10 minutes, Víktor Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the game, one of ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Axel Tasis shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. 25 minutes into the match, ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Agostinho de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Alves struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Celsinho Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Agostinho de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Bebeto Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Agostinho de Amorim came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Alves in the 71st minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Alves in the 77th minute of play. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 81 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
