In the 20th minute, Peru's Eliseo Mina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Loureiro in the 30th minute of play. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Ivar Storm having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiago dos Santos in the 38 minute of the game. Tiago dos Santos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luz Tejedor came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tor-Ivar Storm could save by the left post. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Tor-Ivar Storm made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
