Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play forced Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curro Climent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curro Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Baldemar Folch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz De Paula came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Curro Climent in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauricio Salazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Curro Climent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Sitges's Curro Climent got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 minutes Sitges's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Moises Gayoso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sitges's Curro Climent did a great save. In the 35th minute, Moises Gayoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curro Climent was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 41st minute Baldemar Folch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Curro Climent. 67 minutes into the match, Sitges's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Curro Climent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curro Climent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 68th minute of play. Curro Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenz De Paula. After 78 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Curro Climent was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute Baldemar Folch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Curro Climent saved Sitges from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Curro Climent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curro Climent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Sitges's Curro Climent. Curro Climent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
