In the 3rd match minute, ViraLataCaramelo U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Porto to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 6 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Ferrant struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Eliseu Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Messias in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Mario Fernandino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseu Chaves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ViraLataCaramelo U18's Dinei Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute José Augusto Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Cosme hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseu Chaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Dinei Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ViraLataCaramelo U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Miralles. In the 65th minute of the match Pedro Paulo Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa skillfully saved the ball. After 67 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Paulo Cosme who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Bolivia booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Fernandino in the 82nd minute of play. Iuri Vidal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Iuri Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 97th minute of play forced ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalkeeper Eliseu Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ViraLataCaramelo U18 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bolivia had controlled the match.
