Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) H E P T A N FC's Yu Xi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yu Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 12th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by H E P T A N FC's Murat Akpınar. But to his dismay, Murat Akpınar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of H E P T A N FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced H E P T A N FC's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Tokyürek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by H E P T A N FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Şafak Açıkalın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H E P T A N FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şafak Açıkalın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Yu Xi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. If Murat Akpınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Bilge Tokyürek. H E P T A N FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. The supporters of H E P T A N FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arif Bilge Tokyürek. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 77th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 81st minute of play. Şafak Açıkalın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save H E P T A N FC from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arif Bilge Tokyürek, 2-3. The H E P T A N FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
