Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. Orestas Mineikis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Agatas Alkauskas made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. After having played for 16 minutes, Edwin Grabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savage Hippo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Grabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Askstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Edwin Grabert came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Grabert couldn't finish the play. Vilmantas Magdišauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edwin Grabert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Arne Askstedt came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orestas Mineikis to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Grabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Askstedt having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. The throw-in from Agatas Alkauskas in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 84th minute of play. Orestas Mineikis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Agatas Alkauskas made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vakaris Daujotas immediately put the ball in play. Bengt-Arne Askstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Savage Hippo throughout the match.
