Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Utku Yuvakuran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Bule in the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Utku Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Eroğul. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Zé Tinoco tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goalkeeper Utku Yuvakuran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aytekin Ciner's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aytekin Ciner helped the player get up and apologised. Aytekin Ciner hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goalkeeper Utku Yuvakuran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utku Yuvakuran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Bule in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa made a substitution. Erkin Canay replaced Aytekin Ciner. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zé Tinoco. After having played for 73 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şakir Uçarer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of play forced Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goalkeeper Utku Yuvakuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Utku Yuvakuran. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Bule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Erhan Eroğul fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's protests and gave Erhan Eroğul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Erhan Eroğul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
