When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Sebastian Vettel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Sérgio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 46th minute of play. Classe A Futebol Clube's Sérgio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Vettel's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Vettel helped the player get up and apologised. Mexico's Jonathan Atenas was substituted for Leonardo Leoz. A collision led to Classe A Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sebastian Vettel hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sérgio Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Perez. Classe A Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sérgio Perez came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lautaro Mancebo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 68th playminute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ribas in the 72nd minute of play. Classe A Futebol Clube's Roberto Viana was substituted for Niclas Samuelsson. Classe A Futebol Clube made a substitution. Wilson Queirós replaced Sebastian Vettel. Classe A Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Haroldo Nascimento in the 83rd minute. Classe A Futebol Clube's Haroldo Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Queirós in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Perez made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Queirós in the 92nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
