Vinicio Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vinicio Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in NEGAN y los savadores's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Librado came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. NEGAN y los savadores's Kristi Koçiu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Julio Vera had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Vinicio Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Kristi Koçiu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 38th minute. Vinicio Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute of the match. The NEGAN y los savadores players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Kristi Koçiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute NEGAN y los savadores were awarded a corner. Kristi Koçiu went to the cornerflag to take it. Jairo Abilio made a great header on NEGAN y los savadores's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Kristi Koçiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, NEGAN y los savadores's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Vinicio Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Segundo Flor came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the NEGAN y los savadores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Flor couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kristi Koçiu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinicio Librado. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. NEGAN y los savadores's Vinicio Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Vinicio Librado made a huge save. Vinicio Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. NEGAN y los savadores's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristi Koçiu in the 84th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vinicio Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Jairo Abilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NEGAN y los savadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador played a much better game than NEGAN y los savadores and deserved their victory. The NEGAN y los savadores players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
